Meghan O’Brien

As Director of Advisory Services at Genaesis, Ms. Meghan O’Brien is an M&A transaction leader, with an outstanding background in capital markets relations, deal flow management, and strategic partnership development.

Meghan’s work has been especially focused on stakeholder engagement, supporting women-owned, minority-owned, and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses growth through acquisition. With over 90% of her clients being from historically disadvantaged communities, she has been committed to not only client transactions, but also their successful post-merger transitions as well.

Ms. O’Brien comes to her advisory work with a broad cultural background. The daughter of renowned American geneticist Dr. Stephen J. O'Brien, Ms. O’Brien spent her formative years moving frequently to research institutes throughout the US, Australia, and Europe.

Ms. O’Brien began her undergraduate degree at the University of Oxford in England, and later attended the University of Salamanca in Spain. She ultimately graduated with honors from the College of Health and Human Development at Pennsylvania State University.

Committed to giving back, Meghan volunteers with St. Jude's and actively participates in supporting autoimmune research at Johns Hopkins University.
