Erin-Michael Gill is the founder of Genaesis, and chairman of a Federal advisory committee on  intellectual property, trade, and global investment. He is respected for his intellectual property, business, and policy acumen, creating significant value for clients, partners, and policymakers worldwide.

Mr. Gill’s advisory work has supported over $1.2 billion in M&A and capital formation investments for small, middle-market, and innovation-focused enterprises, as well as $1.5 trillion in annual US trade.

He holds bachelor's degrees in astronomy and physics from Benedictine College, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

As a thought leader and analyst, his insights have been featured in outlets including Bloomberg Television, The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, and Forbes, with invited lectures at Harvard University, the United Nations, and the White House – including presenting "The Role of IP in Attracting Financing" at the APEC Senior Officials Meeting in Cebu, Philippines, as well as to the Chinese delegation directly at the US-China Innovation Dialogue, held at the US State Department.

Erin-Michael is a board member of Global Impact Initiative, a 501(c)3 nonprofit focused on education and workforce development, serving refugees from Afghanistan and Ukraine, and volunteers as a member of the Education Council at MIT.

His past roles have included being named special advisor to the head of the US Patent and Trademark Office in the Obama Administration, serving as CEO of a big data / AI technology company supporting the US intelligence community, and as a FINRA-registered, intellectual property-focused investment banker.

He has been recognized as one of the world's leading IP strategists by Intellectual Asset Magazine since 2013.
